Pensions Payroll

Payroll
Our pensions payroll service can provide solutions to many different tasks such as:

  • Operation and support of a computerised Pensions Payroll

  • Monthly processing of Payroll (with additional quarterly and annual payments)

  • Payment of Pensions by Credit Transfer and cheque payments as appropriate and issue of associated payslips

  • Annual review of Pensions in payment and application of annual increases as determined by Employer/Trustees

  • Dealing with Pensioner queries

  • Liaise as required with Banks, Building Societies, Tax Office, etc.

  • Issue of P60s to members

  • RTI submissions to HMRC

Scheme Accounting

Accounting
Our scheme accounting service can accomplish technical and specialised tasks such as:

  • Maintenance of a separate Bank Account in the name of the Trustees

  • Maintenance of a nominal ledger

  • Cashflow monitoring and projections

  • Monitoring investment activities and liaison with Investment Managers as required

  • Preparation of draft accounts ready for Scheme Audit

  • Production of Trustees Report and Accounts

  • Dealing with and responding to the Scheme‚Äôs Auditors

  • Preparation of tax returns to HMRC

Ancillary Administration (Subject to additional fees)

Ancillary Administration
We also provide extra services that can be ultilised, such as:

  • Review and re-marketing of group life and permanent health plans

  • Attendance at additional meetings

  • Pension sharing orders will be charged in line with the NAPF guidelines

  • Processing of trivial commutation cases through payroll

Special Activities

Special Activities Any one-off tasks. e.g. Redundancy Exercises, Acquisitions, Mergers etc; which are not covered by the above paragraphs can be carried out and where possible a fixed fee would be calculated. Where it is not possible to determine a fixed fee, all work undertaken will be charged for on a timecost basis in accordance with our standard hourly charging rates. The rates charged would reflect the degree of seniority necessary to perform the task.

Service Level Agreements

Service Level Agreements The services that DBC provide are based on a professional yet personal basis. Our aim is to provide a level of service that is equal to if not better than that which could reasonably be expected of an in-house Pensions Department.
